Dr. Phillip Thompson, O.D.

Dr. Phillip Thompson has been providing dedicated family eye care since 2014. Originally from a small farm in Smithfield, Pennsylvania, he initially studied engineering before discovering his true calling in optometry.

Dr. Jeanna Thompson, O.D.

Born and raised in Shawnee, Kansas, Dr. Jeanna Thompson is passionate about protecting her community's vision. Optometry runs deep in her family and an early eye exam by her uncle at age three corrected a severe vision issue, inspiring her lifelong dream to help other children the same way. Because of this, she is a fierce advocate for early childhood eye exams.

Meet the Thompsons

Drs. Phillip and Jeanna Thompson met while attending optometry school in Puerto Rico and have been married and practicing together in Kansas since 2015. As business partners, their complementary strengths make them a dynamic team dedicated to top-tier patient care.They are the proud parents of four energetic children (Gunner, Maverick, Landon, and Savanna) and two loving chocolate labs (Camo and Coco).

Family owned optometrists. Dr Jeanna Thompson is terrific. She has a very genuine concern for the eye health of her patients. I fully trust her to take care of my most important sense, my vision. Her husband, Dr Phillip Thompson, helped me without hesitation, when I walked in one day, without an appointment, having trouble with some new contacts. His concern for my issue was on par with the great care I've received from Dr Jeanna. He made me feel welcome and didn't hurry me in any way. I really appreciate them both.
